I hope to make this video sometime in the next 2 days, but I just wanted to post this to see if anyone had any questions they wanted me to answer in my Vlog (it can be blog or movie related). Thanks for reading and enjoy the Oscars tonight everyone!
This movie looks beyond awesome and I am absolutely going to see it when it comes out. The release date for this movie is set for October 17, 2014. Dracula Untold stars Luke Evans who plays the most famous vampire of all time in an origin story that brings us all the way back to the beginning to where a Transylvania prince risks his life in order to save his family from his enemies. Now when people hear the name Dracula they think of the movie being a horror film, well after watching this trailer I can say that it looks like it is a big action movie. Does this mean that this movie will suck? No, and I will tell you why. We get a brand new story that we have never heard or seen before and since this movie looks like it will be action we may see a more entertaining Dracula. So overall I am really excited and can’t wait until it comes out because this movie looks like a good one!
This movie starts out with a clown who goes by the name of “Pennywise the Dancing Clown” who is murdering little kids in a town called Derry. The adults of the town start to set curfews and start looking for the person that is killing their children but nobody can find him except for this group of about seven kids who call themselves “The Loser’s Club”. Now the clown is no ordinary clown, he is a supernatural being that has the power to change into your biggest fear. Which is what we see in the movie, whenever the kids actually face the creature it winds up being other monsters instead of a clown. He uses his clown form in order to attract kids and get them to approach him. When the kids find out about the clown they vow to destroy him and to take revenge for a kid that died that happened to be the younger brother of one of the kids in the group. They gear up and go down into the sewers to destroy the monster so he can never harm anyone again. When they see the clown I think he turns into a werewolf and they hit him with a silver pellet or some small silver thing. Which takes him down and everyone assumed that the evil clown was dead. Now the film was made up of two parts that were like a hour and a half each so this movie was very long. After part one finishes and the clown is believed to be destroyed we get to part two and this part takes place 30 years into the future when all the kids from “The Loser’s Club” are adults and are living their lives and mostly all of them left the town, but they all made a promise to each other and said if the clown ever comes back they would all go back to Derry to finish him off once and for all. When part two starts we see one of the groups members is killed by Pennywise and this gets all of them too go back. This part of the movie is basically just trying to get the adults too remember their roots and where they came from and how they brought down the clown when they were younger. So they go back to Derry and plot and try to figure out how they can kill him until they eventually remember and go back down to the place where it all began. Leading too their last fight with the monster. Overall I really liked this movie, I think that Stephen King writes some weird and creepy things but they all end up being good to be honest. Although, this is a horror movie it still has some comedy in their and can make you laugh, but it shows the value of friendship and being there for one another. Part one was scary and really brought the horror in the film, the first part had me terrified the whole time. The second part on the other hand lost its scary vibe and brought in a little more comedy. I laughed more then I was afraid in the second part but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like the second part it was still very good and overall with the two parts together it was a good movie, it was just very long but worth every minute. You know it has to be a good movie when the film still gets talked about and mentioned to this day. If you haven’t seen this movie yet I recommend that you go watch it you wont regret it and who knows you might just fall in love with the film.
I give this movie a 8/10
I just watched this movie with no expectations of it being any good but honestly I was wrong. This movie was one of the best Chucky films I have ever seen with maybe an exception of the original Childs Play. The movie starts out with a Chucky doll being delivered to a family home of a paraplegic women named Nica and her mother who was named Sarah. The same night that the doll comes Sarah is found dead from a stab wound and the police proclaim her death to be a suicide. So the next day the sister of Nica whose name is Barbra comes to the house with her husband, daughter, nanny, and a priest. Alice who is the daughter of Barbra finds the Chucky doll and keeps him. That night Nica with the assistance of Alice cooks dinner for everyone and this is the first time we see Chucky attempting to kill someone in this film, he takes rat poison and pours it into one of the plates of food. Unfortunately it wound up being the priest and he started feeling weird so he left early and this caused him to get in an accident which wound up removing his head. After that occurs the movie is just about everyone trying to survive the night and Nica finding clues about Charles Lee Ray and the doll Chucky which makes her come to the conclusion that he is killing everyone in the family. This movie really didn’t have the slasher vibe like all the other Child’s Play movies had, this Chucky film was straight out horror it was made to just scare the shit out of the movies viewers and honestly I think it did well. The setting of the movie was creepy as hell it was in a creepy, dark mansion type of house and it just looked scary. The doll on the other hand looked a little weird I liked the older look of the Chucky doll but this doll did fit with the movie it was creepy just like the film was. There wasn’t that many kills and the kill scenes really weren’t amazing but the horror vibe of the film actually made up for that. The ending of the movie in my opinion was amazing like honestly it was so good, I don’t think I have ever seen a better ending in the other Child’s Play films. Overall I really liked this movie I thought it gives the audience a great scare and it was a great addition to an already good franchise, I thought the movie fit very well. At first while I was watching this movie I was looking for the motive like why did Chucky come to this home and why is he killing these people and they showed why more towards the end and I thought it was fantastic, how they connected the original film to this one. Basically back in 1988 Charles Lee Ray was obsessed with Sarah from the moment he met her and he killed her husband and basically took her captive so he can be with her. The cops come and since she somehow told the cops he stabbed her in the stomach while she was pregnant with Nica which is why she became a paraplegic. So the cops start to chase him and this is where they show Charles Lee Ray running into the toy store with all the good guy dolls and basically you know what happens next cause I am pretty sure everyone has seen the first movie. Now when I saw that I thought it was the perfect motive for him to be killing this family, it is basically revenge. I think the directors/writers did an amazing job with the story line of this film and connecting it to the original movie. I can’t believe how much I liked this film but if I liked it I know all of you will too, so I absolutely recommend you go and watch it if you haven’t already you wont regret it and you will see a great story and great ending!
I give this movie a 9/10
This movie starts off with a group of teenagers who are getting ready to go on vacation to a cabin to have a good time. As they are driving they see a gas station so they pull over and load up their car with gas. While they are loading up their car with the gas they tell the guy that is working there that they are going to a lake that is somewhere around here. Once the guy hears that he starts laughing and saying you’re all going to die. Now after seeing the beginning of the movie I thought it was going to be a pretty good horror movie with maybe a slasher vibe in it. I thought the teens were going to get killed one by one by someone or something that lived there. Well that part was somewhat true. Eventually we find out that this is no ordinary cabin, that this cabin is above a laboratory that is under the cabins basement and the scientists that are down there have prepared a set of choices for the group of teens in the basement of the cabin. Now you may think that I just ruined the whole movie for you but I didn’t you find out about the scientists within the first 20 mins of the movie. So back to the film, once the teens arrive at the home they start to party until one of them stumbles onto this secret entrance into the basement. They make their way down there and see all these different objects that resemble different cultures or religions or basically in this film the many different ways that they can die and the way that they die is depended on which object they choose. They choose this object that makes a zombie type of family come after them. This is where the movie honestly picks up a little bit there are good kill scenes and they made the whole vibe of this film scary. There was creepy scenes and who wouldn’t like that in a scary movie. You see now I would have been perfectly fine with this film if they ended it right there. That the kids who survived just either got away or left after they found out about the laboratory and started to make their way out of it. But the ending man it was so unexpected and so stupid that it literally mind-fucked me. It made me regret watching the film and had me thinking what did I just waste my time watching. Killed the movie, I am not going to ruin the ending but just know that it sucked and you will probably hate it. Overall I hated the film it was without a doubt one of the most terrible movies that I have ever seen. Honestly the only part that I liked was when they released the zombies, other then that the laboratory and science stuff about the film was just awful but that is not what killed the movie it was all the ending. I don’t recommend anybody to watch this movie, everyone I know and talked to hated the film and thought it was a joke. So yea if you haven’t watched this movie do yourself a favor and never watch it.
I give this movie a 2/10
The sequel to the hit original film lived up to its potential or hype, well at least I thought it did. I read some comments on other reviews saying how Scream 2 wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either, that people just didn’t think it was as good as they thought it would be. Well I would have to disagree, but everyone has there own opinions so I do understand that but this movie was a very solid sequel. It starts off with a great opening scene, we see Jada Pinkett Smith going to see the movie “Stab” which is based on the Woods-borough murders with her boyfriend in the film. So while the boyfriend goes to the bathroom ghost face kills him puts on his clothes goes back into the movie theater and stabs Jada Smith. After she gets stabbed she gets up and tries to walk away but the killer just comes up behind her and stabs her multiple times and nobody realizes anything because everyone in the movie theater was acting crazy. Then she just crawls on top of the stage and falls down and everyone realizes that she actually got stabbed but that was such a crazy intense scene and it was only the beginning of the film. I was drawn into the movie right there. The rest of the movie takes place with Sidney and Randy attending college and they have made new friends and looked like they actually were starting to get their life together again. Well at least until what happened in the movies and that is when we start to see more killings. This movie did a great job by bringing more kills into the film that was the only problem I really had with the first one even though I still loved the film it was nice seeing more kills in this movie. We also see Cotton Weary in this film which if you remember from the first film is the man that Sidney wrongly accused of killing her mother. I really liked his character and it gave him such a great motive to be the killer, that is if he was the killer? Yeah watch the movie I am not ruining that. There isn’t really anything else to say about the story line just they went to college the killer followed them and they try to survive the second wave of killings and leads up to a great ending that I did not see coming at all. So, overall I liked the film a lot and the suspense was at an all time high in this movie there were so many people that I thought cold be the killer so it made you think really long and hard about who it could be. The kills like I said were a higher amount then the first film and they were good kill scenes. As for the acting, it was just superb I love all the original characters from the first film and all the new characters that they put in this film. It was a really great cast! I hated but kind of liked that they made one out of the like 6 main characters die, it was a shame to see the person go but made sense that it was that person. Who was it you may ask? Well watch the movie and you will find out !
I give this movie a 8.5/10
I Know What You Did Last Summer is a creepy film. It also probably has the most suspense I have ever seen in a movie before so that means you already know this is going to be a great movie. It starts out with a group of teenage friends who are out drinking on a beach and trying to enjoy the last few days that they might be spending in their very small town together. After they finish drinking they go to drive back into town and as they are driving they hit a man, which causes all of them to panic and worry about there futures so they do the unthinkable. They take his body and throw it into the sea hoping that the waves and fish in the sea will destroy the body and any evidence that they ever hit the man. Exactly one year passes and the character Julie returns to her hometown. Which is when things start to get weird and everyone starts to get notes saying “I know what you did last summer” Hence the name of the film. After these events occur we see the teens try their very best to figure out who this killer is and this gives the film such amazing suspense and mystery it is incredible because the killer can be a few people. It makes you think about who the killer can be and I find that to be enjoyable in a good horror/slasher films. Eventually people start to die until there is only two left. Don’t worry I won’t ruin the movie for you by telling you what happens but it is a great ending and had some great plot twists in it that I think you all can enjoy. Overall I really enjoyed this movie the story line was really good and they had some great actors play in this film which made the film more enjoyable and probably more popular. The kill scenes in the movie were pretty low but they were good kills and the suspense honestly makes up for the lack of kills, I can’t even lie. The main reason why I probably liked this movie so much was because it had the same writer or author as the Scream films and if you have seen my Scram review Vlog then you know I love that franchise and I think he continued his great work by making I Know What You Did Last Summer. The only bad thing I would have to say about this movie is that we really don’t see the killer that much but I guess that adds to the suspense of the film, but at the end everything makes sense. If you haven’t seen this movie I absolutely recommend it, it is a great slasher film and although it may not be as good as Scream it did make a name for itself and it is an impressive movie. You will not regret watching this movie so go watch it! I give this movie an 9/10
