Plot : It’s been eight years since the events in the second film, we now see that Andy is a teenager who has been enrolled in a military school. Play Pals Toy Company decides to re-release its Good Guys line, feeling that after all this time, the bad publicity has died down. As they re-used old materials, the spirit of Charles Lee Ray once again comes to life. In his search for Andy, Chucky falls into the hands of a younger boy, and he realizes that it may be easier to transfer his soul into this unsuspecting child. Andy is the only one who knows what Chucky is up to, and it’s now up to him to put a stop to it.
Review : The third installment in the Child’s Play franchise was a great addition to the previous films. It was a great and highly enjoyable film, that can keep the viewers entertained. The story was very good and was really intriguing. We see Chucky come back into Andy’s life once again to try and get out of hiss doll body, but this time he has a new target. I really loved the idea of Andy being more of a parental figure in this film, he’s dealt with Chucky his whole life and now he must try to stop him once and for all to save some other poor kids life. It was a great story that mainly focused on dark humor, the movie was filled with horror and comedy. Loved it!The acting was decent, wasn’t the worst performance I’ve seen from a cast, but wasn’t the best either. It kind of threw me off a bit, I feel like Alex Vincent did a better job as Andy than Justin Whalin. He really picked up his acting for the second film and would have liked too see him in the third, but that didn’t happen and Whalin didn’t do that bad of a job. It was an overall decent acting performance from the cast, but nothing too great.
The movie had a few kills and some great kill scenes. There was good amounts of blood, which made the movie even more entertaining. I just wish the movie would have scared me more, that was my problem with the first two original films, they just weren’t scary, which was my only problem with this film. We don’t need scares to enjoy this movie though, the blood and kill scenes will give you everything you need. Such a violent little doll!Overall this was a good movie that was highly enjoyable. It was a great addition to the Child’s Play franchise and can keep the viewers entertained. The story was great, but the acting wasn’t that good. It was a decent acting performance from the cast, I don’t know what it is , I just didn’t like the cast, couldn’t really connect with anyone in the film. The movie really doesn’t provide scares, but the kill scenes and blood make up for that, they were great. If you haven’t watched this film yet I absolutely recommend you go watch it. You won’t regret it! This is a highly enjoyable film that can keep you entertained the whole time!
I give this movie a 8.5/10
